Sheri Lynn North, 59 of Linglestown, PA, entered the presence of Jesus on Sunday, March 3, surrounded by her loving family.  Sheri was born on July 25, 1959 in Lancaster, PA, the daughter of the late Anita (Bowman) and Harold Aungst.  Sheri grew up on their farm in McVeytown, PA, and graduated from Rothrock H.S. in 1977.  She moved to the Harrisburg area in 1980 and married her husband, Clyde North, in 1983. Besides her husband, she is survived by their three adult sons – Christopher, Sean and Ethan.

 Sheri‘s great zest for life was revealed in her love for God and family. She was energetic, hard-working and precise in all her endeavors.  She was the self-proprietor of Sheri’s Sweet Confections.  Her desserts were enjoyed by many, especially those who frequented the Progress Grill and Theo’s Bar and Grill. Her specialty was designing and decorating cakes for special occasions.  She had a passion for gardening and excelled at creating planters and designing entire yard layouts.  She was a past president and member of the Linglestown Garden Club and Harrisburg Garden Club.  She won numerous awards and ribbons for her entrants in horticultural events.

 She was a member of Linglestown Life Church where she enjoyed singing in holiday cantatas and volunteering her time and talents of baking and landscape design. Previously, she taught Vacation Bible School at Linglestown Church of God, helped to lead the youth and volunteered her time to charitable and fund raising projects.

 Sheri is survived by seven siblings: Sandy (Aungst) and Dale Brubaker of Monrovia, MD,  Gary and (Sue) Aungst of McVeytown, Dan and (Patty) Aungst of McVeytown, Michael Aungst of York, Cindy(Aungst) and Jerry Kambic of Harrisburg, Laurie (Aungst) and Melvin Shrock of McVeytown, and Michelle (Aungst)and Andy Baker of Burnham PA.   She is also survived by nineteen nieces and nephews and twenty great nieces and nephews.

 There is a celebration of life service for Sheri on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Linglestown Life United Methodist Church at 1430 N. Mountain Road in Linglestown, PA.  Visitation begins at 10:00 AM followed by the service at 11:00 AM.

 Memorial contributions in Sheri’s name can be made to Hospice for All Seasons in Grantville, PA or to Linglestown Life United Methodist Church.
