Charles J. Boehm, 92, resident of Country Meadows Retirement Community and formerly of Camp Hill, PA entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 22, 2017. He was born March 23, 1925, in College Point, NY. He was the widower of Mary W. Boehm (nee Knight).

Mr. Boehm was a proud U.S. Navy veteran having served on the USS Monterey and USS Gorka from 1943-1946 during WWII.

Charles was a member of Camp Hill United Methodist Church. He enjoyed cooking, reading and gardening. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his wife, Mary and his family particularly his grandchildren.

Surviving are his sister, Doris Frakenstein of College Point, NY; daughter, Sharon and her husband, Rance Diehl, of Mechanicsburg; son, William P. and his wife, Deborah M. Boehm of Mechanicsburg; and his grandchildren, C. Justin Boehm and his wife, Stephanie, W. Jeremy Boehm and his fiancé Lauren Delvecchio, and M. Elizabeth (Boehm) Jorge Esq and her husband, Eduardo Jorge; and great-grandchildren, Emma and Olyvia.

In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his parents, Charles J. Boehm, Sr. and Harriet Kaszmarik and sisters, Rita Boehm and Joan Walters.

A memorial service will be held with military honors at the Camp Hill United Methodist Church, 417 S. 22nd Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011 on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 11:00 AM. The family will receive visitors at the Church from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Celtic Hospice, 900 Century Drive, Suite 201, Mechanicsburg, PA or the Camp Hill United Methodist Church.
