Nancy (Koch) Vogt, 71, of New Cumberland, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Holy Spirit Hospital.

She was born February 8, 1945, in Queens, NY, to the late Alfred and Hazel (Scherer) Koch.

Nancy was a member of the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church of Camp Hill and the founder of Long Island Cat & Kitten Solutions (LICKS), Long Island, NY.

Surviving are sons Frederick Vogt (fiancé Debbie Pitsicalis) and John Vogt; daughter Christin Heidingsfelder (Andrew); granddaughters: Ashley Austin, Noelle Vogt, Jessi Vogt, Morgan Heidingsfelder, Arianna Heidingsfelder; brother Paul Koch (Carol); and Star Fickes-Peiffer her “daughter from another mother”. Including her parents, also preceding her in death are her husband, Frederick; brothers Alan Koch, Robert Koch, and John Kennedy; sisters Ethel Burling and Edna Burkert; and foster daughter Sharon Nowinski.

She deeply touched the lives of as many, many people who were blessed to know her.

My condolences on Nancy's death . If my memory is correct, I worked with Nancy at BOCES. She was a lovely person to be acquainted with . She and the family are in my thoughts and prayers .
