Kathryn Mae (Kuhn) Jones, 96, Fayetteville, PA; went to be with her Lord, on Sunday, March 20, 2011, at Chambersburg Hospital. She was born May 6, 1914 in Littlestown, PA; the daughter of the late Eugene F. and Pauline C. (Messinger) Kuhn. She graduated from Littlestown High School and American Motel School Management Course, in 1968. She retired in 1976; as a sales associate from Montgomery Wards, Carlisle, PA.

Kathryn was the last of her immediate family; she was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: an infant brother, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters; also a son Daniel Richard Jones; daughters-in-laws Lois Jones, and Doris Jones; son-in-laws George W. Parlette and Homer P. Monn, Jr.; infant granddaughters, Robin Jones and Mary K. Jones and a grandson, Tommy Jones.

She is survived by sons: Bruce, Hanover, PA; Larry, Little Rock, AR; Gary and wife Maureen, Anna IL; daughters Shirley Monn-Myers and husband Richard, Fayetteville and Darlene Jones-Cline, Shiremanstown; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; and 2 step-great-great grandchildren; survived by sister-in-laws Fran Kuhn, San Clemente, CA and Jacqueline Kuhn, Mountville, PA; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

She was a devoted member of St Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Fayetteville; she taught Sunday school and many other functions for the church, throughout her life. She was a member of First Court Chapter #470 Order of Eastern Star, Shippensburg; Samaria Shrine #43, Gettysburg, where she served as Past Worthy High Priestess; Norland A.A.R.P. Chapter #3261, serving as president 1990-1992; former active member of the Senior Center, Chambersburg; former member of The American Business Women's Association. She served as Judge of Election, for Guilford Township, District 6 for numerous years. She loved her family and her church family; loved to cook and bake, make candy, gardening, sew, read, play cards and games and loved to travel.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Fayetteville, PA, at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Eloise Shanley officiating. Visitation and fellowship reception with the family and friends following the service, in the Out Reach Center. Eastern Star Service, at 10:30 AM; prior to the service. Interment at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Lincoln Way West, Gettysburg, PA., at convenience of the family.

Kathryn requested the omission of flowers; memorial contributions made in her memory, to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 44 E. Main St. Fayetteville, PA; towards the Organ Fund or Mortgage Fund.
