I never had the privilege of meeting Patty, but come to know and care about her through posts on horse and animal Facebook pages. She always had a kind word for those she knew and was always the first to send positive thoughts and prayers to those who needed them. I can only imagine how much she will be missed by Rick, other family members and friends. RIP, sweet soul.

Patty was my friend through our Facebook horse group, BITS, and we were the Bitsies. We shared life, a love of all animals, especially horses, squirrel jokes, triumphs, and tragedies. Patty made us laugh with her purple hair and the antics of her cats. Some might wonder how people who haven’t met in real life could form meaningful friendships online, but I can tell you that I knew Patty’s heart was full of love and her presence will be missed. My heart goes out to Rick and Christian and the many others who loved her.

I was not lucky enough to have known her in person, but privileged to have become friends with her on Facebook (BITSies). What a warm, funny and gentle woman, who always had kind words of support for the rabbit rescue I run. 💫💖💫

Patty was always such a joyful person, even back in first grade at Penbrook Elementary. After high school our paths did not cross for about 30 years. We met again at Habitat For Humanity. Patty was still the joyful lady I remembered from years earlier. Joyful will always be the way I remember Patty.
Rick and Chris,
May your joyful memories of Patty sustain you in your sorrow. I smile every time I think of Patty. She was a wonderful person.
