Katie Ann Bradley (née Peck), 31, of Millersburg, passed away peacefully at home on April 5, 2019 while surrounded by her family and close friends.
She was the eldest daughter of Kenneth E. Peck, Jr. and the late Sandra M. Peck, born on June 17, 1987 in Harrisburg, PA. Katie was a graduate of Dauphin County Technical School and spent her career as a medical records assistant. Most recently, she enjoyed working at Très Chic as a manager.
Katie had a truly radiant personality, an infectious smile and a contagious laugh. She spent the last four years of her life showing admirable strength as she battled breast cancer. Katie enjoyed touring wineries with her closest friends, snuggling her puppies: Tucker and Maxx, having cookouts, shopping, tubing down the river, playing sports with her husband and watching Steelers football. Katie grew up on the softball field and enjoyed playing kickball, flag football and dodgeball.
Katie spent the last seven years spoiling her nephews to attain "favorite aunt and best friend" status. Aunt Kate enjoyed taking Connor and Case shopping at Target, exploring at Chocolate World, having sleepovers and hunting for dinosaur toys. They loved that their Aunt Kate took them places, "like Whalehead Beach." She helped Case paint his dinosaur piggy banks. She took Connor bowling and out for ice cream. Most of all, the boys "love her and like her because she brings me places I never saw."
She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 11 years, Jaime Bradley; father, Kenneth E. Peck, Jr. (wife, Tonya); sisters, Rebecca (Anthony) Kasinskas, Emily (Robert) Kauffman, and Sara (Charles) Ross; nephews, Connor & Case Kauffman; grandmothers, Anna Romberger and Linda Peck; and father-in-law, Edward Bradley. Katie is also survived by members of her extended family, including several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceeded in death by her mother, Sandra Peck; grandfathers, Dean Romberger, Sr. and Kenneth E. Peck, Sr.; and mother-in-law, Julie Bradley.
The family will be having a Celebration of Life Party on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 3pm at The Reserve and Gardens at Hershey Meadows, 201 Osprey Lane, Hummelstown, PA 17036 to honor Katie. Per Katie's request, guests are required to wear colorful attire; absolutely no black attire is permitted. The family will hold a private burial at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Katie has requested that memorial contributions be made to Graceful Acres, 193A Ridge Road, Halifax, PA 17032.
