Rose Ann Miller of Carlisle, PA, passed away peacefully with loving siblings nearby on Saturday morning, December 15, 2018. She was born in Everett, PA, on August 23, 1960 to Gerald R. and Betty (Klahre) Miller.

A graduate of the Everett Area School District and Hagerstown MD Business College, Rose Ann was retired from the Commonwealth of PA, holding positions in Harrisburg, Carlisle, and Chambersburg.

Throughout her life, Rose Ann faithfully attended the Everett UMC, former Allison UMC and Carlisle UMC. She joyfully sang in choirs and rang bells, was active in United Methodist Women at Allison and Carlisle, and served as Music Librarian at Allison.

Rose Ann is survived by her father; 2 sisters; 3 brothers; and 26 nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held for family and friends on Thursday, December 27, at Carlisle United Methodist Church, 45 S West St, Carlisle, with the Service at 1:00 p.m. followed by the visitation at 2:00 p.m.

Burial in Everett, PA, will be at the convenience of Rose Ann’s family.

Sorry, I couldn't make the service. My prayers are with you. Ihave many happy memories of her especially her dry humor & her huge heart. She was always willing to help others as long as she could. She is probably helping Miss Ellen now.

Rose Ann was a faithful dedicated participant in all that she did. She was a member of the church handbell and singing choir for years. When I took over as Senior Choir Director, the extensive choral library had little organization. Rose Ann voluntarily served as the choir librarian and organized it all, She was a good servant.
