Helen Mae Conaway (Hall), 89, of Middletown, PA, passed away, peacefully, with her family at her side November 27, 2018. Born February 8, 1929, in Clearfield, PA, she was raised as one of seven children to Charles A. Hall and Ruth E. Hall. She married her husband of 51 years, Herman R. Conaway, in 1947, and they had two children. They moved to State College, where they had their first house built and lived for several years before moving to Middletown. Helen loved bowling, music, and her Bible. She loved spending time outdoors in every season, working in the garden, shoveling snow, and bird watching. She loved her family more than anything.
Surviving are, her daughter, Trudy A. Fusselman (Conaway), her granddaughter Chelsea M. Fusselman, her grandson, Larry W. Conaway, Jr., five great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Herman R. Conaway, her son, Larry W. Conaway, Sr., her granddaughter, Jeanne K. Conaway, her four brothers, J. Edward Hall, R. Harold Hall, C. Burton Hall, and Gerald M. Hall, and two sisters, Ethel Hall and Janet M. Neff (Hall).
A small memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at 1:30pm at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
